When I have several tables in my workspace, I can make links between them.
For example, here I would like to link my people table to my city table.
To do this, I go to one of the two tables and create a new field.
I name it by the name of the other table, and I choose the link type
Then I choose the corresponding workspace.
Here it is the same and the table.
I have a choice to check the options to allow either to automatically create new records or to select them only.
I can also choose the unique link so you can't add more than one record.
Here, I have my link now to the city where I can select the existing cities in the table.
