How to Use the Gantt View in Timetonic ?
The Gantt chart visually represents your projects with your tasks and sub-tasks, which facilitates understanding and planning organization. For your Gantt view configuration in your task table, first prepare your default view by creating a self-relation table. Configure the column of your linked table to be uniquely linked. Start by creating your view, choose the Gantt view mode, and set up your configuration. In our case, I will choose a title by task name, status, project duration, start date, and end date. I want to quantify the progress of my tasks on projects, see the people assigned to tasks. In choosing the configuration, I will choose to have a level linked by the projects, which will be connected to my sub-tasks table.
To ensure your configuration is successful, make sure your intra-table link column is configured as a unique link and similarly for the relation of other tables as a unique link as well. Your configuration brings you to the Gantt view. A column represents the configuration fields organized into projects, tasks, and sub-tasks, with visibility adjustable by day, week, or month. You can create relationships between your projects and tasks. Choose according to your organization if it is a task that succeeds at the beginning or end of a project. Control the removal of relationships between tasks and possibly delete tasks within your project. Create a new task from this space. Act on the progress and advancement of your tasks. Find and manage all the relationships in your Gantt view by accessing the configuration panel. Click on Edit Relationships. From this space, find the columns of linked tasks and the direction of project connections. Perform the necessary automations to optimize your scheduling on this table or create a new record.
